Voice

VOICE (Virginians Organized for Interfaith Community Engagement) is comprised of more than 40 interfaith organizations in Northern Virginia who have agreed to come together to lend their collective voices to highlight and urge prompt resolution of unfair and unjust issues affecting citizens within Northern Virginia.  Its goal is to help those citizens who are struggling with day-to-day concerns and issues that are not being addressed by those who have the responsibility and means to do so.

How Will VOICE Achieve its Objective?

By coming together and bringing our collective knowledge, resources, and presence to unfair situations throughout Prince William County and Northern Virginia

Initially VOICE will focus on the following three areas (but other local and regional issues and concerns are expected):

  • Affordable Housing
  • Access to Medical and Dental Care
  • Immigration Reform

For I was an hungred, and ye gave me meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me drink: I was a stranger, and ye took me in: Naked, and ye clothed me: I was sick, and ye visited me: I was in prison, and ye came unto me. — Matthew 25:35-36
